However, Winnie the Pooh is not short for Winifred, but Winnipeg and here is the proof:

For the record, Winnipeg comes from an Cree word win-nipi meaning murky water or muddy water - which, in my opinion, is where the Pooh came from. Actually, it is because Winnipeg is situated around two rivers, one of them, the Red river got its name because the clay deposits make the river a sort of reddish brown.

A quick 'net search revealed that the name "Yahseph" appears to be a contrived version of the name "Joseph" (from the Hebrew "Yosef") and is used by a religious doomsday group calling themselves "The House of Yahweh", in Abeline, Texas.
