Hi. My grandfather died this past weekend and I was told that he was named for a character in a book. He was born in 1912 so it was an older book. His name was Kyril Ivor. I am not sure if both names were from a book but I know Kyril was. I can not find a meaning or anything on his name. If anyone knows anything about the name Kyril, please let me know. Thank you.
