Andres and Andrus are both very common and longstanding Estonian derivatives of the name Andreas. Their pet forms are Andi and/or Andu interchangeably. Anti is another local given name of this family. "Andresepäev" (Andres's nameday) is marked in local calenders as Nov. 30, as for Andrews elsewhere.
