MEANING OF MY NAME

HI MY NAME IS LEESHA AND I LIKE 2 FIND OUT THE MEANING BEHIND IT. I THINK IN LATIN IT MEANS "MY BELOVED" BUT I AM NOT SURE.I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF U COULD FIND THE MEANING OF MY NAME. THANKS

Leesha is a variation of Lisha, which is a short form of Alicia or Felicia. Alicia is from German and means "noble type".
Felicia is from Latin and means "lucky, successful".Click here: Alicia / Felicia for more information.The Lating for "beloved" is amatus (see Amato) so that is definitely not the meaning of Leesha.:-)

Do you know the meaning of the name Shelby? I got my name from my grandma who died when my dad was 14 years old(:-)
