My mom's name is Tonayo. We have never heard of anyone else with this name. My grandma supposedly read it in a novel a long time ago. We have never come across a novel with her name in it. We think it was a novel that had a Polynesian setting. If anyone has ever come across the name Tonayo, I'd love to hear from you! Or if you've ever read a book with this name in it. We have an English/German background...but that doesn't lead us to any conclusions on the name.
