The Greek name of the river Jordan both in the Greek Old Testament (LXX) and New Testament is JORDANES. This was also used as a personal name, there was a famous 6th cent. historian by that name (also: JORDANIS), who considered himself a Goth.
So in Greek it's: Iota - omikron - rhe - delta - alpha - nu - eta - sigma.
