My name is Katrice Rem'me W. I have been searching to find out my name for the last four years. I am a female of African American decent. My grandparents are Native American, Black and White. I'm not sure if you need that information but I wanted to give you as much as possible. Thank you for creating this website. If you can't find the meaning, that would be fine too. Just a wild guess

I strongly suspect that your name is constructed from Katrina (a form of Catherine) and the French female ending "-rice". Many African-American names seem to encompass French elements. Perhaps you are of Cajun origin?
