I am 11 yrs old and my teacher told us to find the meaning of our name for a homework assignment. But I don't know where else to look. I know my name is the english and french version of christina but does it actually have a meaning.

But the word "Christ" literally means "annointed with oil", which was a means begun in ancient times of consecrating (declaring to the service of a deity) something or someone.
So, "Christine" can be a pagan name, too! Don't forget to tell your teacher that. :)
