Does you husband mean - YESENIA -, by any chance?
There is no such thing as "Llesinia" in Spanish.
There is Yesenia (click on hyper link for more info) however, which happens to be a "trendy" name, in Central America.Hope this helps,
Magia (who speaks mucho español guatemalteco y !MUY Chapin!)Ps.: YESENIA is pronounced yeh-SEH-nee-ah

Muchas gracias Magia! I think you have it. I had my mother try to look it up & she said that the "yuh" sound is usually made by the "Ll". She speaks a little Spanish but has not been able to use it conversationally since childhood. The name has a lovely sound but my husband is illiterate in both English & Spanish and cannot spell it for me. We are working on that! I have been living in mortal fear of spelling the name wrong on the birth certificate. Thanks so much for taking time to help me. Do you know if the name has any particular meaning in Spanish? Is it perhaps a flower? Thanks again for your kindness, Mrs. B

Glad I could help...Yesenia or Yessenia is only but a latinized form of Jessenia , which possibly means "flower" in Arabic. (If you click on the blue hyperlinks, you will find this information, from Behind the Name's data base).I know a girl named Yesenia. We call her "Yesi" as a shortIt is my pleasure,
Magia.
