Pronouce like 'Mih' makes it a word, not a name.Merel is pronouced like Meryl (ie Meryl Streep).-Seda*

No it's not! lol sorry, i don't know how to explain it by dutch pronounciations, so i hope Lucille can, cause i'm clueless..i know how Meryl is pronounced (yes as in Meryl Streep) and it is totally different from our Merel! Maybe it's just our Mer and our R in general..lol just as our hard g..can't explain it..lol
