I'm trying to find the ethnic origin of the name Kruchina. Perhaps the spelling tells of where it is used now, what countries? It is a male name I believe but please verify. Thanks.

It seems to be a Russian name. The meanings I've found are "plague" or "like dumpish". Not very nice!
