This is a very distant memory - and I haven't got the resources here to check it - isn't there a water plant or pondweed or something like that called Elodia? I seem to have seen it - rather pretty, feathery leaf thingies. No idea whether it ever produces blossoms, though!

Yes, thanks. I did find on the Name Nerds website this reference under Elodia "See Elodie for derivation. On another note, Elodea is a common type of seaweed. You probably have some growing in your fish tank."
