Nexus
This is a male name,
and I have no clue on backround.
I think actually it is the name of a ship on some science fiction show.
That is not where I got the name.
I was saving it for my usual list of names I post every so often, but someone I know, who told it to me, appearently 'needs' to know what it means.
-shrugs- I think they might be crazy :)
BTW, to Nan, that minpin site, was its own little treasure trove of names, lol.
Some names from that site will be on my next list.
Thanks again to all.
BTN RULES!!! YEA!!! (sorry.. as Pavlos would say I just checked out of 'Hotel Cocoa')

"Nexus" is a name often used in sci-fi because it has such a great meaning: the connection point or center of a phenomenon.
Yeah, you'll find a lot of goofy dog names on that minpin site. :)

i dont' know if anyone will scroll down far enough to read my message since there are so many before it, but here's what i know--
The Nexus was the name of a ribbon of energy that passes through space in a star trek movie. This energy ribbon had some kind of connection between time and space, and if in it a person could live anytime they wanted and be anyone they wanted. Actually, Picard went into this nexus and brought out Kirk...
i know that didn't help you with the name's meaning, but it was still informative, right? :)
