I came acroos a name on an hbo show about young children and their parents obsession with runway modeling. Anyway the little girl's name was Swan. Appertaly it means beautiful. I like the name and i plan on using it for my baby girl.... Thanks Ash!e

wild guess, but Swan probably means 'swan' from the english word swan, swams are often identified with beauty and grace
