Stanzy/Stanzi is a nickname for Constanze, a German/Austrian form of Constance. In the film "Amadeus", the Mozart character (Tom Hulce)referred to his wife Constanze (Elizabeth Berridge) as "Stanzi" throughout. Think of it as "Connie".
