Thanks for the help. I actually found that on the database. But wanted to see what else it could mean, as I found my name (Rina) before and according to another site it means joyous song, apparently as a jewish name.

Anyway, any other ideas on the meaning would be gratefully appreciated.

Here's another approach to your name :)
It could be also derived from the Greek "monos," meaning "alone". The ancient Greek names "Monika" and "Moneka" (recorded in *The Lexicon of Greek Personal Names*), as well as the words "monastery" and "minister", are derived from "monos".
