Rightio. My name is Shanae. whoo. anyhow, there are 2 different meanings behind my name, and they originate from 2 different cultures/religions/races..
1. From Hebrew, means "God is gracious". Yes, I was horrified when I found out.. hahaha, not meaning to offend any religious people of course, I'm just not into Christianity. :)
2. From Gaelic, means "That's it" .. seriously, no kidding. weird name o'mine.. hehehehe..

Shanae and its variations are a subset of names like Sine, Sian, Shana et cetera - Gaelic versions of Jane. They are more common in colonial nations such as the US and Australia.
