The mystery Joe Anna was solved
OK, guys, here's the thing - Joe Anna is a guy (a rather "macho" one indeed :o). A note to Amy: Amy, Joe's (he goes by Joe only - what a surprise!) parents probably thought that there's nothing wrong with giving him a female middle name and he almost killed me out of anger that I got him into the computer as a girl. I am not saying this is right, but that's how society works: girls have girlish names. Period.

Well, Joanna is not such an unusual name, and if they spelled it Joe Anna, so what. However...
Anthony, as well as Michael and Christopher, which I've heard people naming or considering to name their girls (I know of two female Michael's), are so inherently boy's names, to name a girl that is just insensitive to the social problems she will encounter.
