It's one of my favourite names! It's a name from the Yoruba people in Nigeria and it's pr. ah-beh-NEE (to change that pr. to ah-BENN-ee is not to recommend, since this may change the meaning to something unpleasant - it's the same with all Yoruba names.

thank you Caprice i have been searching every where to find out how to pronounce this as my husband would not let me use it until we could pronounce it. I am sure my unborn child also thanks you she would be stuck with something like heather
