Wasn't Arachne that rather impertinent mortal who royally pissed off the Goddess Athena? Oooo, Arachne came to a bad end.

Yes, but didn't Athena get pissed off because Arachne demonstrated she could spin just as well as Owl-Girl? Athy's a prototype for pointy-haired bosses everywhere.
