Re: names not sure of
"Jacie" appears to be a modern development, possibly a name formed from the initials "J.C.", which could stand for a variety of things from "Jesus Christ" to "Junior Citizen".Besides being a genus of insect, "Andrena" is also a variation on the name of "Andrea".Any other meaning for "Duncan" might be construed from the character in Shakespeare's play *MacBeth*. I suppose one could say the name means "king" in that respect -- although that isn't the literal meaning of the name.-- Nanaea

I came across the name Jacy recently - it was a Native American name (don't remember the tribe) meaning moon. Not Jacie exactly, but close?Laura

Close enough -- especially if one wants to view "Jacie" as an alternate spelling of "Jacy".-- Nanaea
