I have been researching my family PARKER for years, and my grandmothers surname was either MUNAR or MUNNA. I have documents that shows both, either MUNAR or MUNNA. Her birth records (1890) were burned in a courthouse fire in Baltimore. Nothing has been found on Mary Agnes MUNAR or MUNNA's parents. Mary Agnes MUNAR or MUNNA was placed in an Orphanage in Baltimore (about 1891-1900), and raised by Catholic Nuns (as per my mother,she also says the surname is MUNNA). I've contacted all the orphanages that contain records between those years in or near Baltimore. . But Mary Agnes MUNAR or MUNNA's marriage license, wedding announcment, and marriage application says MUNAR. Her SSI says MUNNA, as does her death certificate (as my mother was the Informat).
