My name is Myoushi. I have not met anyone with my name before. I was named after a family
friend and that is a far as I know about my name, other than it is Japanes and means something
special, but what!!!!!

As you know, Japanese language has many 'kanji', i.e. chinese characters. 'Myoushi' can be written with many different 'kanji', so 'Myoushi' can be the different meanings...
But 'Myoushi' has something to do with Buddhism, I guess. The sound of 'Myoushi' is so Buddhistic for the ears of Japanese people. If Myoushi is written as –»Žt with kanji, it has the meaning of 'the master in hell'...
In anyway, I've not hear or see the name 'Myoushi' in my whole life. It must be so unusual name.

Personally, I think that this particular Myoushi who posted here (who happens to be accessing this site from a computer at Alabama State University) may have been given her name by parents who heard it wrong in the first place.
Which wouldn't surprise me, seeing as how this particular Myoushi appears to be having communication problems of her own.

If you'd READ through this message board, you would have seen that this person not only posted three times here already requesting information on her name, but she also RUDELY neglected to post a "thank you" to our webmaster (or even acknowledge his help) for providing her (TWICE) with said information.
