oh Phyllis
Since your the witch of the board! Halloween is coming and all! Are you getting excited? And do you have any suggestions for a girl who is into wicca but just hasent really gotten started? My sister goes on different wicca sites all the time but would like some books. Do you have any suggestions? You can e-mail if you like or post it here! Or if you have any questions and etc you can e-mail me or post them!
Thanks!!!

You rang? (voiceover by the late Ted Cassidy as Lurch)GiaI would personally recommend Margot Adler's Drawing Down The Moon (second or third edition) and Starhawk's The Spiral Dance (again, later editions). If you won't mind, may I give your e-mail address to my Wicca & Neopaganism instructor? She can recommend VOLUMES of books and web sites that are pagan-friendly from the "testing the waters" to the "enjoys reading torturous doctoral dissertations just for fun" ;)Has your sister logged onto The Witches' Voice? The address for their site is http://www.witchvox.com (for anyone interested). It's one web site that I've personally found to be quite informative.I'll be watching the postings for any questions (and Gia's answer).Bud blagosloven (blessed be in Russian/Ukrainian)

Here's another web site, one that has a list of recommended readings about Wicca, Paganism, Witchcraft and other related topics (the Pizza [that IS her real last name] gave me a copy of the list, but it is somewhat long):the Nature Religion Scholars Network: http://www.uscolo.edu/natrel/index.htmlI hope this is helpful to anybody interested (including your sister, Gia)Bud blagosloven
