Hi my grandfather was adopted so i really dont know what origin i really am but I know his last name before he was adopted. It was LASWELL I have been wundering all these years about if im german or irish or maybe even spanish. so hopefully you will be able to solve probem!

I did a quick Google search on Laswell, and it seems that it is an Anglicised version of the French surname Lascelles. I couldn't find a meaning for it though.

This may be a good place to start looking. Be cautious though - such sites aren't always accurate and are sometimes complete fabrications.
