Hello. I'm a 22 Canadian that can't find the meaning of my name. My grandmother, who is Haitian isnamed Delna and that's who I was named afetr. but I would like to know the meaning of it. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

However, I kinda doubt that the parents of your Hatian grandmother may have spoken Latvian. In which case I would say that your name of "Delna" is probably an alteration of the name "Delma", from the French "de la mer", meaning "of the sea".
