Phoenix is quite cool, has a good sound, and a nice mythological story, I like it.
mmm... Phoenix Paul, Phoenix Marius, Phoenix Casper, Phoenix Jack/Jack Phoenix, Phoenix Lewis, Phoenix Luke... Difficult name, isn't it?
Actually, I think I'd like it better as a mn: if I say it many times it becomes a hard name to me, cool, but hard.

I think I like it better as a mn, too.
I did meet a WOMAN recently, in her 30's probably, with this fn. I thought that was...different.

I'm not pregnant so I'm not really considering it. I just wanted to know what everyone thaught of it because I like the sound of it and I also like the story of the mythological bird. It might end up on my list but I doubt it will be the name of my first born child.

And... Phoenix is lovely. But it is also VERY hot, dry, brown, dusty... a lot of bad sections... you know?

I don't really like Phoenix for a boy, sorry, if I used it it would be on a girl.

I wouldnt use Phoenix period, but if it was a must, I would use it on a boy long before I ever used it on a girl. I cant picture a girl with this name, but a boy I could, I wouldnt want to, but its easier to see than a girl with the name.
