I adore the name Susannah, right now it's my number one name. I imagine a blonde girl, southern and sophisticated. I dislike it spelled Susanna.. Susannah is the traditional spelling.. A lot of people think that's its an elaboration of Susan, but really Susan is just the short form of Susannah (or so I read) I wouldn't assume a Susannah went by Susie. My sister is named Susannah and goes by Susannah. I adore the nns Annie and Anna though.
