Julian
I've been loving Julian on a girl more and more lately. WDYTO these combinations?Julian Estella
Elaina Julian (Latinate form of Elaine)
Julian Esmee (EZ-may - would use the accent Esmée)
Julian Rosa(As I've mentioned before, it has always been unisex - the English form of both Julianus and Juliana - and is actually found earlier on females - so it's definitely not a modern "stealing" of the male name, just to clarify :-)New suggestions welcome!

I have to say that I really really dislike this as a girl's name. It has a very masculine sound to me. I don't particularly like this name on a boy either, but Julian on a girl bad to me. Why Julian when there are so many other Juli- names for girls to pick from?

JulayneI know someone named Julayne (pro. Jewel-ayne). I think this would make a nicer more feminine alternative to Julian.

I like it better on a boy. You could use Julienne or even Jillian. Elaina Julienne

Let me state outright that I prefer Julian on a boy. It's one of my favorites, actually. That said, I don't think it's that bad on a girl, either - so long as it doesn't become the next trendy girl name. It's damn well better than Logan or Riley on a girl, which just turn my stomach. However, as a rule I prefer Julianne, Juliane, or Juliana.Julian Estella is pretty, as is Julian Rosa, which is my favorite of the possibilities.Julian Alice
Julian Clara
Julian Ivy
Julian Maria
Julian Pearl / Julian Perla

It seems like a boy's name to me. How about Juliana or Julianne?

To me it's a 100% male name, sorry. What about Julia, Juliana, Julie, Juliet, Juliette, Yulia, Julienne...

It may be a legit unisex name, but most people see it as a male name today. Girls do already have a lot of Juli- names (Juliana, Juliane / Julianne, Julia, Julie, Juliet / Juliette), whereas boys only have Julius and Julian. Sorry, but I prefer Julian on a boy. That said, I think these are good:
Julian Esmée
Julian RosaBut the flow's off to me. Rosa Julian sounds quite nice to me though.Miranda

My sons name is Julien so it is all BOY to me and BtN says:
JULIANA f
Usage: Dutch, German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Ancient Roman
Feminine form of Julianus (see JULIAN). The Blessed Juliana of Norwich was a 14th-century mystic and author. This name was also borne by a queen of the Netherlands.
JULIAN m
Usage: English
Pronounced: JOO-lee-an, JOOL-yan
From the Roman name Julianus, which was derived from JULIUS. This was the name of the last pagan Roman emperor as well as several early saints.
That Julian is from the name Julianus and that Juliana is the feminine form of the MALE name Julianus.

No, Julian is much too masculine for a girl. What's wrong with Julia, Juliana, or Juliet?

I prefer it on a girl to a boy, actually. When I was about 7 there was an older girl in my Brownies group called Julianne (it was probably Julie-Anne, actually, but never mind) and I always thought it was Julian, so I was quite surprised when I found out that it was actually a male name. That's probably the reason why it's always seemed too feminine to me.
I love Julian Estella and Elaina Julian.
Some more suggestions...
Julian Diana
Julian Marissa
Julian Isabella
Julian Elspeth
Julian Claire
Elsa Julian
Clara Julian
