Ida
I'm starting to really like this name... despite it being 'old-fashioned' (a quality I quite like anyway).
What do you think of Ida?

Love it! It's strong, very unusual nowadays, but has a good history behind it. I love the sound and the meaning. It was even a royal name (for both men and women, but even I won't advocate the boys getting this name back :-p), once upon a time.
The only drawback is that it's so very, very short. For me, that would mean I wouldn't be able to use longer names for sibs: Ida and Charles or Ida and Elizabeth just look so unbalanced to me.

Nice. Would you prn. it id-a or eye-da?
Eye-da. :)
And 'EE-da' where I live. ;)

I like it, I think of a strong, intelligent and hardworking woman. As a child, an Ida would probably be extravert, pretty talkative and very social, I think.
Cute! I like it!
