My friend Kelly and her husband's last name is Sinclaire.
I like it because of them. Don't care for Evangelise though.-Seda*

Evangelise is strange to me. Sinclaire is weird: it looks like Sainte Claire, and also like sinning Claire! lol
Sinclair, for a boy, is weird too. It seems to come from "Saint Claire", but "saint" is masculine (the feminine is sainte). O_o

Evangeline is OK, but for some reason I do not like Evangelise.
I don't like Sinclaire for a girl, but I do like Sinclair for a boy.

Evangelise is ok, but I detest Sinclaire. I was on a LONG flight once and there was a young child behind me named Sinclaire. I bet her mother said her name 150 times during that flight: "Don't do that, Sinclaire." "Put that down, Sinclaire." "Don't hit your brother, Sinclaire." etc. I thought it was a horrible name to begin with and then to have it drilled into my head for hours...well, it's not my favorite. :)

Hmmm...I still prefer Evangeline (which is one of my favorites), but Evangelise is interesting. I don't like Sinclaire for a girl at all. Don't like it for a boy, either, for that matter.

I love Claire on a girl, but Sinclaire's very, very masculine to me. Also surnamey, so I prefer it on a boy only if it's a family surname.Evangelise is very pretty, but I still prefer Evangeline.Miranda

Evangelise has never been a big fav. of mine but it is a classic. Also I'm not a big fan of Sinclaire.
