I don't think it's trashy, and I think alot of names are classy. I like it as a middle name only though, I wouldn't be able to pull it off as a first name.

I don't consider it trashy. I do think it's along the lines of Melody which I consider a bit ditzy and fluffy. It borders between cute and earthy in my opinion.

I agree with you, Harmony is like a "forbidden fruit" name, something that is beautiful and lovely like, with a hints of sugar, salt, sour lemons and mangos, papayas and more...Its a melody of the song of Musical and Magical Fruit, its for a average girl, I can imagine pretty smart, lovable and pretty...Don't forget fun to be around, great middle name to go with this would be:

I agree, it is so beautiful, yet a lot of people think it is trashy. I think it depends on how much it is used--I love Cadence when I was younger, but now it has taken off and is unusable. I kind of don't think Harmony will do that though. I like it better than Melody :).

Its hard to say if Harmony will become another Destiny or Heaven (guess it just depends on who uses it!), but I just think of the soap opera Passions when I hear the name. It takes place in a small New-England town, Harmony... but speaking of the show it used to have a character named Charity & I thought that was okay. Come to think of it, while the show is horrible (JMHO), it has had some really cool names like Ethan (before it became uber popular), and a really cute family of Sam, Grace (her sister Faith & dd Charity), and their kids Noah, Kay (for Katherine), and Jessica.
