Uriel
Somebody mentioned the name Uriel, a while back, and I've sort of started to like it. I don't think I'd ever use it because of it's meaning ("God is my light"), since I'm an athiest, but I'd like it on someone else's child, and would probably use it for a character.
So... WDYT of Uriel?

For me, I don't think I can get past the series of Japanese graphic novels called 'Angel Sanctuary', where all the angels are given distinct characters and roles in the story that takes place in 1999. Uriel was the 'earth' element angel, guarding the paths that the dead take when they die, and he was a really depressing guy. And a little bit nuts in the beginning.
Besides that, I'm not fond of the 'u' sound.

I don't like the English prn. one bit because it makes me think of urine :D
But the Hebrew original one (oo-ryel / oo-ree-el) is nice.
