Meredith? WDYT?
What does everyone think of Meredith? It's not a name I would neccesarily use, but I realized I actually do like it, and I haven't really heard much lately.

I love it-I think it's very pretty. I know it's originally a boy's name but I really can't picture it on a modern little boy. I knew one Meredith in high school-she was beautiful and popular.

I like it more for a boy than a girl its a nice enough name but not one of my favorites

Only for a boy, please! I love it for a boy, but I not for a girl. It means "sea lord" or "great lord"; the original form, Maredudd, is 100% male afaik; and Maredudd was the name of five kings of Wales. That said, I think Meredith's a very nice name. Unusual, and even more so for a boy. Old-fashioned and a bit quirky. Handsome but not macho. An all-around good name.Miranda

I've seen it on the baords recently. I like it has a male meaning but it could still pass on a female as it is used as a surname, in fact I am sure my freinds whose surname is Meredith gave it to her daugther as a middle name.
