Wdyt of it? How would you pronounce it (Ah-quin-na?)? I have always liked the name & even though its unusual do you think its possible meaning would lessen peoples outrage to it?("Aquinnah"(a-kee-nah MY NOTE: I hate that pronounciation) is a Wampanoag Indian word meaning beautiful colours by the sea. We chose this name for our cottage because each summer that we have been here, we have marveled at the blue sky and sea, the red sand, and the many shades of green that characterize the landscape.)
Another thought, I love Michael J. Fox's kids' names (which is odd because celeb. copying is soo not my style ... no Ryder or Apple for me!), Sam (b), twin girls Aquinnah & Schuyler, and youngest daughter Esme, any thoughts ... since their all such unusual names would it be odd if I used more than one of them (although DH only likes Esmee & Skylar & I'd have to really work on them to use either of those two let alone Aquinnah).
