Isobel?
I'm someone who really dislikes when names are spelt differently for the "creative touch" rather than common sense a.k.a Jeysika, Stef-Annie..etc.
But I feel significatly drawn towards spelling Isabelle/Isabel as Isobel.
I know a nice Isobel and I just like it spelt this way because it sounds less like you're trying to flaunt the fact that Isabel has the word 'belle' in it suggesting beauty. I don't like names that subjects beauty :\ not sure why.. anyways..

This has always been my favorite spelling too. I like that it is Scottish, actually. :) However, I always worried that people would think I didn't know how to spell a name if I used that spelling... :(... Plus my best friend is dead set on naming her first born daughter, Isabella.
I prefer Isabelle :)
Isobel is cute :)
One of my freinds had it on her favorites list for years though recently she has relegated it to the middle name slot, I have started to prefer Isobel rather than Isabel / Isabelle.
Though I expect one of the other posters has already said it I will say it anyway :)Isobel isnt a creative spelling its a Scottish form of Isabel.

I've already sent you a message because I obviously didn't know you'd ask this question here and on the interactive polls page, but Isobel isn't kre8iveleigh spelled. It's the Scottish version.
First of all Isobel is not a kre8tive spelling like Jeysika..., it is the Scottish spelling of Isabel.
I love it, this name is fabulous and whilst I find the spellings Isabel and Isabelle overused, this one makesthe name unusual.
My only fear is the associaion with Grey's anatomy's Isobel "Izzie" Stevens. Well, it's not a bad thing after all...
Nice choice!

I like it spelled this way. I think (I may be wrong) that is spelled this way more than Isabel, in Spanish speaking countries.
