Catherine Vs Charlotte
I am torn between this two names. I love classic names, and these are both classic. However, Charlotte doesn't have a good nickname I like. (charlite is masculine to me) On the other hand, Catherine, has the nicknames Cate, Catie, and CAt, which are all I love.

Charlotte is at the top of my list right now. I consider Charley for a nn. And I love Cat as a nn but I don't like Catherine. IT would have to be Catarina or Catalina for me.

This is tough. I like both full names but in the end I prefer Catherine because it has more nickname options and because sometimes I wig out at the fact "harlot" is in the middle of Charlotte. That said, what about the nickname Lottie?

Personally I'd pick Charlotte because I love the sound of it. However, If you spell Katherine this way, then I wouldn't be able to make a choice. I'm weird, I know...

I prefer Charlotte just because I know a ton of people named Catherine (spelled in a variety of ways.) The only nickname I can think of besides Charlie is Lottie, which could be cute but I'm not enamoured of it.

What about Lottie as a nn for Charlotte? I'm torn too, I really love them both...but since Charlotte is higher up on my list than Catherine, I am going to have to pick Charlotte.

Charlotte could always be Lottie :)Catherine is much better than Charlotte to me... both are timeless, but Catherine is a bit more elegant to me, especially when spelled with the "c" (I guess because its French and I, like many others, associate class and sophisication with the French).

Charlotte.Because Tatty, Lottie, Lotte, Lotta, Charty, Charla, Charlo, Lola, Lolo, Totty, Totta, Tatsy, and Carly certainly aren't masculine. And the only spelling I like of Catherine is Katharine (nn Kitty, naturally). Array

For some reason, I've never liked Catherine so my vote goes for Charlotte.

I like both, but prefer Charlotte. What about Lottie or Lotte (LOT-uh, more or less)? If it was Katherine, I'd have a harder time choosing.

Charlotte@Catherine is overdone to me. There are lots of nn possiblities for Charlotte.Charlie, Char, Lottie are the ones I have heard actually being used.

I love both, but I like Catherine more as a first name for the same reason. I prefer Charlotte as a middle name.

CatherineEven though I prefer the spelling Katharine, I like Catherine much more than Charlotte. Yes, they are both classic, but I'm pretty sure that very soon Charlotte is going to absolutely shoot up in popularity, like Isabella, Ava, etc. Catherine is always around, but is never over the top in popularity. Plus, like you said, it has the nn's you love. So, Catherine gets my vote. :)
