Re: Emerson
in reply to a message by Elle
Emerson is just so "NO!" for a girl for me. It means "son of Emery", and Emery itself is a male name (despite what the tryndeez often say). And besides that, Emerson is just so tryndee and "trying too hard"...On a boy, it's still trendy, but it doesn't strike me as tryndee because it has some Victorian Era charm to me.I think simple, 100% (or near to it) masculine, non 3-syllable-or-longer middle names would suit Emerson as a fn:
Emerson John
Emerson Jacob
Emerson Caleb
Emerson Brock (too harsh?)
Emerson Philip
Emerson Michael
Emerson Casper
Emerson Victor
Emerson Cade
Emerson Ralph (too corny?)
Emerson Ray
Emerson Jay
Emerson Frank
Emerson Jude
Emerson Louis / Lewis
Emerson James
Emerson Wilfred
Emerson Waldo (too corny?)
Emerson Walter
Emerson Lane
Emerson Blaine / Blane
Emerson Blake
Emerson Blaise
Emerson Blaze
Emerson Paul

Poetry Analysis Hell? How is that possible? I love analysing poetry! PM me if you want to chat about it. I enjoy any opportunity to chat about poetry, but I'll leave it at that before I get too far OT.I love the name Blake for William Blake, but it caught on for some reason recently. I think it's getting too popular, unfortunately.
