Theodora?
I really like this name, especially with the nns Thea, Theda and Dora, and I know a lot of people on the boards like this name, but all the people I know see against it.
WDYT?

I really like it, though it isn't a name I would use personally. It is still nice to see out and about. :-)

I just adore it! Call her Thea, Dora, or Dory, and she'll be fine. When she grows up she'll come to appreciate her elegant, graceful name. Theodora is much better than the trendy nonsense that lots of parents like to name their kids these days.

I like it as long as you keep it Theodora. NO NICKNAMES!!! I hate them. It takes away from the real thing

I absolutely adore it. It's one of those utterly gorgeous names that just make you go "wow!". It's extremely beautiful, sophistocated, elegant, and very strong. I also like the NNs Thea, Dora, and Theda.

I love it! Especially with the nn Thea.

I like this name just so long as a nickname is generally used. It's a bit of a mouthful.

I love the name Theodora. :)

I like it as long asthe "Th" is pronounced just like a "T." I don't care for Theodora with a Thhhh but I like it said (also spelled, though I don't prefer one over the other visually) Teodora. I think I only like the nn Theda, pr. Teda.

I quite like it, but I love Dorothea nn Dori. The nn Teddy would be really cute for Theodora, too.I think its old-fashioned feel turns many people off of it, but with the resurgence of vintage names I think that it won't feel really out of place in a couple of years.

I really like it. I would personally prefer to use Theodore on a boy, but Theodora is also nice. I love the nn Thea and Thora.

I like it. It's kind of cute and endearing and will age really well.

I absolutely love it. I love Theodore too and would probably be slightly more inclined to use that. I love the nns Thea and Dora for Theodora. I also like Teddy and Dorita. As for people you know not liking it, I wouldn't let it bother me!

I really like Theadora. The best nn I think is Thea. I know some people might not like it, but if you do that all that matters. It is a beautiful and traditional name, but still works for today.

If your planning to use it on a baby born around now then I don't think it will suit the child. It's ok on older people imo.
