I like Zenobia and Zuleika but I don't love either enough to use. I prefer Zara, Zinnia, and Zipporah. :) BTW, kind of weird but I had a dream a few weeks ago that I was a different person (that happens a lot) and my name was Zenobia. My nn was Nobi. :b I must've seen the name here that day or something, hehe.
Of the other names, I like:
Eve
Hope
Blossom
Sen

Z names for girls are growing on me. Zuleika is gorgeous, as is Zenobia.
I'm more familiar with Zenobia and have the image of an ancient queen to go with it. Plus, anything that connects to the sound of Palmyra is good, I find it haunting. The only down-side to the name Zenobia is the long, stressed "o" sound isn't my favorite. The sound of Zuleika is better. But the imagery of Zenobia is better still. Nice problem to have, eh?

I really like this name, and have for many years; it is, of all things, a Conan reference. In the stories written by Robert E. Howard (a Texan!), and later expounded upon by L. Sprague de Camp and Lin Carter, Zenobia is Conan's eventual wife and queen, though there are many other women featured throughout his escapades (Belit, Sonja, Valeria).
I also like the spelling Xenobia, but the whole "Xeno = alien" thing throws that off, imo.
I've never really tried to come up with a good Zenobia combo, I'll be interested to see what gets suggested.
Zuleika is nice, though I totally prefer Zenobia, as you can see.
The combos you made are all pretty, with lovely meanings. As for suggestions for some of the other names, I'm afraid I'm at a loss. I'm not so good at Asian names. Good luck, though.

I love both names. Zuleika is actually on my list to use for cats.
These are all cool ideas. Zuleika is a beautiful name. I like it as a middle name for Ageha (AH-geh-hah), the Japanese word for swallowtail butterfly and a main character from my favorite movie.
Ageha Zuleika.
or Zuleika Xuan. I'm not sure how Vietnamese names are pronounced, but the Chinese word for spring is Chun and Xuan might be something like that.
I don't like the meaning of Zenobia so much. I wouldn't want to name a kid after a god. I did name my cat Zeno, though. :/
Honora Chiyo (A thousand generations of honor)
Sen Sapphira (Thousand sapphire)
Hotaru Shoshana (Firefly lily)
Alaia Setsu (Joyful festival child)
Irina Satori (Peaceful enlightenment)
Araceli Thanh (Blue sky altar)
Noelani Thanh (Blue heavenly mist)
Chihiro Salome (A thousand fathoms of peace)
Ageha Zuleika.

oh i love those suggestions! and Thank you, i loved the idea of making combos like that hehe.
Normally I would say Zuleika and Zenobia are not my styles. However, I love their meanings. I prefer Zuleika a slight more. I love the meaning. I love how it was used in Medieval times and also is biblical. I also love how it was portrayed in many poems and tales. I also love Ancient History and Zenobia derived from Zeus which also makes me like the name. So you have two votes from me :)
I love Zuleika; reminds me of the novel by Max Beerbohm, but I'm afraid very few others'll get that reference. :( I like it best pronounced zoo-LYE-kah, which is apparently non-standard, but I suppose it's the German in me!
Zenobia is also pretty, but too reminiscent of Zeenie in Edith Wharton's Ethan Frome. I prefer Zinovia.
