I am rather fond of it (m)

It isn't very common among younger people, but I don't consider it to be totally old-ladyish. I went to school with a Dorothy, she didn't have a nickname that i know of. She works now at the bank, and she is very youthful and pretty and very nice.
Also my mother works with a lady in her mid-thirties named Dorothy, sometimes called Dolly. She is also very nice and quite pretty.
I know a very hateful old woman named Dot, so I don't think Dot is very attractive. Dolly is cute, and Dori.
