It's ok. I have a friend named Dorothy that went to my high school. She's an astronaut now which is just amazing to me. She goes by Dottie now, though she didn't back when we were younger. Despite her good association, the name still feels pretty old fashioned and awkward to me. I much prefer Theodora/Theadora with the nn Thea.
