Re: Jan 28 - 31 Random Birth Announcements
Anne Douglas - Anne is sweet, classic, and underused. I dislike Douglas, even if it's a family surname. I think people deserve to have a true middle name, not an extra last name.
Blessed Denila Estebat - Horrible from start to finish. Blessed is cheesy and tease-provoking.
Braelyn Clara Grace (Mom: Windy) - I find Braelyn rather cute, although far too childish for anyone over the age of seven or so. Clara Grace would've been lovely.
Bradie Maddison - Trendy and unoriginal.
Destiny Henry - Henry? On a girl? Even as a middle name that's atrocious. It's almost making Destiny look tolerable.
Gladys Mitzel - Gladys is legitimate, respectable, but rather uninspiring, at least to me.
Hope Ashlee - Hope is another cheese-fest. It's probably one of my least favorite names; I hate the sound and its sudden explosion in popularity. Ashlee, in this spelling, is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Jazzie' Mykalah-Ninette - Why not Jasmine with the nickname Jazzie? That would've been cute. And why the useless dangling apostrophe which will make spelling this already strange name even mroe of a headache?
Jodi Nicole - Jodi sounds a little dated, but it could grow on me.
Journei Renee - I guess Journey wasn't special enough . . .
Kensley Nicole - Cute in a bratty spoiled Yuppie baby sort of way.
Liberty Isabella - Pretty in theory, a little over the top in practice. Libby is a nice down to earth nickname option.
Lucy Jane - Sweet but a little boring.
Mary Evelyn - Nice, although I'd prefer Evelyn Mary.
Meadow Elizabeth - Meadow. Ha ha ha.
Nancy Edith - If I didn't know better, I'd swear she was born in the 40s. I admire the parent's courage, but I don't think this one's ripe for revival just yet. Not to mention the fact that both Nancy and Edith are, in my mind, really very ugly.
Paris Chanel - Poor kid. Screams trashy.
Rachael Lynne - Like it. Normally I'm the one screaming at parents that spelling a name a little differently doesn't do anything to change its popularity, but somehow Rachael feels far more interesting to me than Rachel.
Sophia Pearl - Love Sophia, especially with the nickname Sophie. Pearl I'd rather do without, but at least it's hidden in the middle name slot.Bryce Wren - Bryce I like. But the middle name . . . this guy is going to want to keep Wren a secret or else he'll be teased in all likelihood. I really dislike Wren even for girls; it sounds so whiny and screechy and birdy.
Hudson Dallas - Hey, it's time to have fun with random place names! I suggest siblings Savannah Brooklyn, Austin Dakota, and London Sedona!
J-Mee Vashon - Oh dear.
Jericho Remetir - I can't say I like Jericho, and I have trouble picturing it on a real person, but it's rather intriguing. Remetir has me completely perplexed.
Redeem Tyro - Sounds very Puritan until you get to the Tyro part. Then it becomes a promotion at a local auto repairs shop.
Zayde Thomas - Well, I like Thomas.
Zyre Naszier - What?
