WDYT of Rachel?
Does Rachel seem to dated? I know it was popular in the 90s' because of Jennifer Aniston character's "Rachel". And what are some good combos? My combos:Rachel Elizabeth
Caitlyn Rachel

I don't really think it's dated, but I've known so many tens of Rachels in my short life that it's like Emma (sorry!): completely and utterly boring. However, if it's not overused where you live, go for it! There's nothing wrong with it except popularity.

I love Rachel. It's one of my favorite names but it seems to always get pushed to the back of my list. rachel Elizabeth is great. Caitlyn not only looks misspelled, it's sooooo popular I roll my eyes everytime I hear of a new one. Why not Kathleen or maybe even Catherine.

My name. And I hate it. I guess most people tend to dislike a name because they have it.
I find it too popular (Once was in a class with 2 Rachels and 2 Rachaels, along with a Rochelle (or was it Roshelle))?And I find it is not feminine sounding (nor masculine for that matter). No it is not dated.

I dont think its dated. In 2005 (in America) it was number 38 + all the Rachael spellings.

I love the name Rachel! I may be biased, since it's my sister's name, but I don't at all think it's dated. It's a very classy, feminine name that has withstood the test of time...simply gorgeous imo :-) I plan on using it as a MN for one of my daughters in honor of my sister.Rachel Elizabeth - very pretty, though I prefer the sp. Elisabeth (one of my fave combos is actually Elisabeth Rachel)Caitlyn Rachel - the combo is fairly nice...I like Caitlyn with this sp.My personal fave "Rachel" combo is Olivia Rachel.
