Tess
I really like the names Tess and Tessa, but are they too short for full first names? I don't really like the name Theresa, do you know any other names Tess might work as a nn for?

I think both Tess & Tessa work fine as full names, no need to use as a nickname only. They're both very nice : )

Tess and Tessa make beautiful names :)

Tess and Tessa aren't too short, but I prefer Tessa. Some sugesstions that haven't been made are Theresia and Therese but if you don't like Theresa maybe that's too close.

I LOVE Tess and Tessa! I think it's long enough for a first name =]

I love the names Tess and Tessa, and I don't think they're too short as first names. I also love the name Tessiana, which I'd pronounce Tessi-Ahn-nah.

No, they aren't too short for full names--they stand alone beautifully. I knew a Tess who wore her name beautifully. The fact that it's one syllable doesn't mean it isn't a full.Array

Tess seems fine as a full name. What about:
Tessica
Contessa
Quintessa
