This name is really growing on me. It has a pleasant sound & what I really like about it is that it is not too popular. It is simple & elegant - an excellent choice imo. Oh & it's not too difficult to find a suitable mn for it, but I'll leave that pleasure for you. Be sure to share it with us when you do choose a mn for Melina.

I love the name Melina! It used to be one of my top three faves, and though it has slipped slightly, I still think it's a lovely name. Very feminine and classy :-) I liked the combos Melina Kathryn and Melina Rose, but some other suggestions are:

Thank you so much! I really like the combos. It is especially interesting that you listed Melina Jean. I did not know how people would feel about the repetitive -ee sound in Melina and Jean. If I did end up using Melina in the future, the mn would most likely be Jean--it is an extremely important family name. It is good to see that you think it works!!
