Just Lilia. No nick name.

It's pretty, but Lily, Lillian, and other Lily names are becoming very popular.

Lilia is my favorite girl name at the moment. I really love how it looks and sounds. I much prefer it to the other 'Lily' names. I don't really like Lilia with the nn Lily. I prefer it to stay as it is.

It's pretty, but I would much rather just use Lily.

I love the name Lilia, mostly due to gymnast Lilia Podkopayeva.
I like Lily, but it's just so popular.
Lilia and Lily are completely seperate names to me, I don't see why Lilia would need a nn.

Lilia has a beautiful sound, but I don't like the way it looks. I love the name Lily, though.

I really like the name Lilia, though I prefer it sp. Lylia slightly more. I think it has a lovely sound and is very feminine. I also like Lillian, and Lily makes a sweet nickname, despite its popularity.

Lily is quickly wearing out its welcome to me, but I'd still rather see Lily by itself. Lilia seems like just an excuse to use Lily. It is unnecessarily elaborate. Lillian would be my first choice because it isn't as popular, and it feels more grounded.

Agreed, and adding...That even though Lilia has history, it feels insubstantially trendy to me.I like Lileas / Lilias and Lilian, and I would really love Lily if it wasn't so damned popular.Array
