I love the name Monica! It's been one of my personal faves for a long time, and I have some great associations with it :-) I'd use it for either a FN or a MN, though I think it makes a lovely FN that isn't overused, but is still very feminine and will age well. I think some people will associate it with Monica Lewinsky, though I personally don't.

I don't like any NNs for Monica. I love it all on its own. Nikki isn't my style at all, since it seems so much more masculine to me.
