Opinions on this name? Favorite combos? Too unusual? Thanks!

I love it, though it may be a little too old-fashioned and British sounding for my part of the world. :-/ I can just imagine people's faces--my family included--if I told them I wanted to name my daughter Iris. :b

I love it, it was my favorite for the longest time. It's not too unusual at all. And pretty much everything goes with it, from Iris Cordelia to Iris Anne.

I love the name Iris, though I may be biased, since it's my mom's name. I find it so feminine and beautiful. I don't think it's too unusual...it's a flower name that's underused imo. Very pretty! :-)My favorite combos are Iris Victoria and Iris Alexandra.

I think it's gorgeous. I would totally be all over it myself if I wasn't an eye doctor. The name makes me think of flowers, and not the part of the eye. But still, it would be weird.

I love it! I would only use it as a middle name though. One of my combos was Evangeline Iris, but nobody else liked it in my family. So, I went with Evangeline Rose. Well, actually, my sister liked Evangeline Iris. But, everyone agreed on Evangeline Rose.
