Arabella, Isabella, or Annabella?
I've always liked -bella names and these three are my favorites.I always thought I liked Isabella the best, but it's become really common now. When we go out I actually see a lot of people in the grocery store, ect, saying, "Isabella! Come here!" and so forth.I think Arabella is also really pretty, but I'm afraid too many people might think "Arab named Ella". I also like Annabella, but I'm afraid it's to strange/to long. You'll occasionally here "Annabel", but never an Annabella. What do you like? What would you think if you saw a little girl names Isabella or Annabella or Arabella somewhere?

I absolutely adore all 3 names!! my combos for all of them have the middle name Vida because their nn would be Bella Vida because Bella Vida means beautiful life.

my three favourite names! In oder of my liking:Isabella
Arabella
AnnabellaI've never met one Isabella in my life. It's not common around here however my 90 year old grand aunt is Isabel she's the only one I know.I think all three of these names are frilly princess names but that's okay, that's the style i like.

Well if I was to see/hear/meet an Isabella, Annabella or Arabella I know my first thought would be "what a lovely name for a little girl", because thay are all simply beautiful names, and are elegant, refind, and regal! I personaly like Arabella a little bit more because it is less popular and also because of it's Scottish connections. And I deffinately don't think "Arab named Ella", to me it's clearly defined that the name is Ara + Bella! It has rather the thought of beautiful music because of Ara sounding like Aria and Bella like Ballet or a southern belle and meaning beautiful.Annabella is a bit long and that's why I like the spelling Anabella a bit better. But either way it's really a classic name that to me isn't used quite enough.
Isabella is also beautiful but is probably my least favorite of the three because of it's recent popularity surge. I think either one would be perfect on any little girl and have several nickname possibilities in case the whole name is too long or not suit.Hope this helps!

Wow, thanks a lot! For me it really is between Arabella/Annabella right now, and I think I'm leaning towards Arabella. I didn't know it had Scottish connections! I thought it was just Italian, that's pretty cool.

Scottish & Historic ConnectionsYep, there was Lady Arabella Stuart who was died a prisoner in the tower of London in 1615. http://tudorhistory.org/people/arabella/

It was first performed on July 1, 1933, at the Dresden Sächsisches Staatstheater. Also the Granddaughter of Winston Churchill is Arabella Chruchill who is the founder and director of Children's World Charity.Arabella Kennedy (stillborn 1956) was the first child conceived by later President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie.Arabella Mansfield (May 23, 1846–August 2, 1911) née Belle Aurelia Babb, became the first female lawyer in the United States when she was admitted to the Iowa bar in 1869.

I would use Isabella on my child. It is on my top ten list right now! I have a niece name Annabelle, but she goes by Bella, so that is always an option also.

I like Arabella, I have since I was like 8 years old. No one will think "Arab named Ella", if they do they need to get over that. Anyway Ella is not an Arabian name. Are you the woman with two boys named Aiden and Jayden?

Ok, so, does it get confussing? I mean, having rhyming names? Also, does it bother you that they are both SO popular, even (yuck) for girls?

It does get confussing at times. But since they were twins we thought it would be cute to have rhyming names. Jayden goes by just Jay, alot, too, so that makes things easier. They are both really popular names, it was my husband who was really set on naming them Aiden/Jayden, I just went along.

I used to love the name Aiden Glenn. But it got very popular and although I still like it, I don't plan on naming a son this. I can hear the name from others, you know? Anyway, I know two men named Jay, well they go by Jay. I think its very cute.
